British Young Breeders Educational Programme

The Elise Pilkington Charitable Trust has generously provided four bursaries to enable selected members of British Young Breeders to spend time at approved studs and breeding establishments both at home and abroad. This will empower young people to understand the importance of careful breeding, and share this knowledge with their peers. During their training they will learn about the desirable conformation and temperament traits to breed for. The ultimate goal is for young people to help each other to minimise indiscriminate breeding, and the equine welfare cases which inevitably result.
