The Elise Pilkington Charitable Trust is a charity that distributes grants to organisations working in the UK and overseas to improve the lives of equines and the elderly. Like all charities, the Trust needs donations to expand and continue its work.
Many of the organisations we support are small, local charities and groups who rely on Trusts like ours to fund capital projects such as purchasing new equipment or funding vital research programmes. As an independent grant-making organisation, we are uniquely placed to make informed decisions about which projects will make the most difference with our support, meaning no other charity can help in quite the same way as we do.
We have a robust application process and a Board of Trustees who scrupulously assess the needs of each cause and the merits of each project. Funds are then distributed, and reports required from the beneficiaries to demonstrate their impact. In this way we ensure that your donation or legacy is used wisely where it is needed most.

To make a donation in your lifetime contact our Administrator by email admin@elisepilkingtontrust.org.uk for BACS details.
Please specify whether you would like your donation to be used to fund elderly or equine projects, otherwise your donation will be used where it is needed most.
How to leave a gift in your Will (legacy)
Leaving a gift in your Will, also known as a Legacy Gift, ensures that the causes you care about continue to benefit from your support even after your death.
It was this desire to make a difference that drove our founder, Mrs Elise Pilkington, to create the Trust, so that her passion for preventing cruelty to equines, and to provide help for the aged and infirm, could continue for many years to come.
To join our founder, when making or updating your Will, ask your solicitor to include a bequest to The Elise Pilkington Charitable Trust, Charity Registration number 1170847.
