‘The Horse trust are so grateful to the Elise Pilkington Charitable Trust for their generous gift which will enable us to purchase an equine dental scope and a host of essential equine dental equipment. The equine dental scope is crucial to get a full picture of the mouth when performing dental examinations. This is particularly true for geriatric horses and those who have severe dental issues from suffering from abuse or neglect, and these make up the majority of the equine population at The Horse Trust. These pieces of equipment will ensure that we are able to manage our horses dental conditions a lot more readily, in turn increasing their health and wellbeing’.
